r18 manual vs r18 auto closing the 2 second gap

Wut kind of mods are needed to close the 2 second gap between the auto and manual will an intake and exhaust do or wut kind of mods list them?

What 2 second gap?

If there is a 2 second gap in the 1/4 mile time, you will not be able to make that up with any kind of bolt-on I promise you that.

i think the r18 manual is 8 second in 0-60 and autos are around 9 or 10.

cutting 2 seconds you are talking about A LOT of bolt on or forced induction.

Forced induction would be the only way. Unless you could find a way to lighten your civic by about say 1,000 lbs.

Yeah, right now you don't have much of an option.

Maybe if we did, you would need I/H/E and cams with a weight redux and you might close that gap.

The auto trans has very different gearing than the manual trans. So you'd need to make alot more power to overcome that fact.

However I find that I drive on the street - the auto trans is faster for me. Simply of they way I drive. The shorter gears in the manual trans would only cause me to be lighter on the pedal.

You could always take out all four seats, the dash, all four wheels and the engine block.

The auto trans gearing would be great with the extra torque of forced induction. A nice supercharger would be great.
