I've posted that I feel the 2006 Civic paint is less than robust, however, having said that, it's because Honda uses an "envirnonmentally friendly" paint process (water based vs. oil based?) and that is why the paint seems "weak."
Nothing we can do, save take really good care of them (wash & wax).

Overall, judging by how much my Royal Blue sedan shows rock chips and scratches off due to it's dark color, I'd suggest a lighter color. Life is full of compromises, and I do love how my Royal Blue color has "pop" to it when clean and waxed, but the other side of the coin is, it shows off dirt well.

Right now, my car looks fantastic, with a coat of Meguiars NXT wax on it.
It looks "wet" which I love. Thanks to forum members here for suggesting Meguiars NXT, by the way. I'm truly impressed with this wax!

+1 for NXT - very easy to apply and remove with great results.

BTW, Honda paint is way better than my 350z paint. Much more chip resistant. There is a general trend, however, towards to more eco-friendly paint relative to past cars, so chip resistance is down across the board.

Okay i still havn't decided. Royal Blue or Galaxy Grey LX Coupe? The Royal Blue: Love blue, first choice color, looks hot, and not common. BUT it shows dirt, and worst, scratches, and has tan interior, not my favorite int.
Grey: Looks sharp, slightly more common, love the grey interior, doesn't show dirt or scratches BUT not my first choice and its just not as pretty as the blue... you see my problem... is blue worth dealing with dirt and scratches for the beauty...(and the nasty tan int.) Is the grey worth the less rare and showy nature for the nice grey int. and no dirt and scratches... HELP me please im so undecisive

Love Royal Blue

Ok...I am glad that there are not too many of us...or so I thought, now that I have one...I see them all over the place here in St. Louis! I have an EX Sedan Auto/Navi that I got May 12th. Here is a pic of mine after getting the windows tinted. Couldnt be happier and love to wash and wax it too!
