Si Axleback Exhaust on EX?

I have an EX coupe and I just wanted a subtle but audible exhaust note. First, I wanted to look for a used HFP muffler but that seems to be hard to come by. So, how would the stock Si axleback exhaust sound on my EX? Would there be noticable sound gains over the stock exhaust?

i definately noticed a difference the first time i turned on my car in my garage after i did that upgrade; there is a slightly louder hum (compared to stock) when im outside my garage. i really only got it for aesthetics, the sound is a bonus.

you can get the axelback exhaust from either the sedan or coupe. they are exactly the same.

well now your talking about two different things..
a cat-back will end up costing you a bit more, but in the end its worth it
an axle-back will be cheap, and probably not notice too many gains except the sound

How different is the sound?

The EX is just a little too quiet when driving around town. I would like a nice, clean, audible exhaust note when driving around. Kinda boring when the car doesn't really sound like anything.

If I wanted just a louder, clean, sound, you think the Si exhaust would be a good upgrade for less than $100?

Just my .02 here but I got an si axleback from a member here and love it. I put it on my coupe and no i didn't notice any gains other than sound. It is not a major difference but enough for now. It has a slight gargle to it.
