I finnaly removed the deck lid and wow it looks so much better! I will be putting the si spoiler back on but I am adding another coat of metallic and another coat of clear to really make it pop . This is where I am so far /shaved ,tack welded , and repainted

Wow, I didnt' think it would look good at all without a spoiler, and while it is slightly square-like, it looks FANTASTIC.

(good color too, btw)

How hard was this to take off? Also is that just adhesive on the sides or is that the paint rubbed off?

It has 2 bolts and 4 clips ,so thats a total of 6 holes that come pre drilled in our car's.
Ill take a pic so you can see the tack welds on the inside of the trunk where I filled all the holes<I filled from the outside in > .It is time consuming and on you must have paint and body experience . I made the pic huge so you could see blend of paint and smoothness of the trunk face that is where the holes are not on the top of the trunk

Is that double sided foam tape on the lip spoilers edges? Did you end up repainting the whole trunk? work looks FLAWLESS!

Thanks ,I repainted about 85% it was easy to blend the rest, then just wet sanded it ,The lip has a foam sealer like a template gasket.
The e-bay si spoiler comes with excelent quality pedestal gaskets that are completley waterproof. I am just wating for a booth to open up at work so I can spray it . When it is done Ill post more pics
