getting yelled and honked at while driving?

i don't know what it is . i have persons saying in a loud voice hey!!! or honking at me in short or big honks when i am at a light.is it because i have a radar detector in my car that i place just under the mirror? or is it the chinese good luck charm i got from a chinese girl that is a friend of mine from a chinese food place.that i hang on the mirror?i know at lights my head stands still and i don't move the whole time i am at the light and i got my windows down.am i the only one that gets this crap?

Hmm intresting...not sure why ur gettn honked @ maybe ur good looking n girls are trying to get ur attention or sumtn...or the car is looking good and it also may be ur music too loud or the stuff hanging lol but radar shouldnt be a problem @ all...but next time ask them WTF there problem is lol

Yesterday while driving home from work I had 2 cars PULL OVER and let me by with in a 5 mile stretch. I wasnt tailgating them at all I like to have that 2-3 second gap between me and the car infront of me. I was like, "Is my car on fire or something??"

It was just like that scene in Bruce Almighty when he made all the cars get out of his way... only totally different.

People always stare at me when I drive by or when i'm at a stoplight its kinda strange... i never got honked or yelled at before though... i get reved at a lot though...

i also get persons trying to make there trucks bounce while they jump up and down in it.i got the revving thing happen to me just tonight.it must be a ricer thing or something.they thinking i am rice but i got nothing but intake on the car. and they where doing this when i had the car all stock.i know my head seems to go forward a bit making it look like i want to race. my neck been that way.i also started seeing persons wait for me to go frist or something at the light. also for some strange reason just tonight 2 cars at 2 lights never went when the light was green for a long while but went after i pass them.

maybe its the car. When I had my car for a few weeks i noticed that a few people have been getting out of my way. I wasn't tailgating, just driving in the fast line normally 5 cars moved out of my way. And i haven't been pulled over doing 20 to 40 over the speed limit. I was damn sure i was going get arrested doing 105 on a 65 on New Jersey Turnpike. :P

I had an 07 Mustang pacing me down I-75, i was in the fast lane doing a cool 78, not really going faster than other traffic; and not holding them up, anyway he was just going next to me a good 10 miles or so... then this other day an old man shook his head at me and yelled at me.(I posted about this a while back) and i also have that whole people get out of my way when i am not speeding or tailgating. maybe its just the effect, our car looks fast?

i got honked at by a texas truck once :)

I stalled the car at a light....3rd day with my si

but i do get people from the back move over to the other lane... they dont pass me or do anything wtf ? smoke coming from my stock car or sumthing ?

i just got revved by a civic ricer..... he revved more when he saw me with a big laugh sorta smile on my face.

I havn't had it alot. I have an 07 civic coupe LX in rbp. But i drive alot of back country roads (its ohio) and people will pull over to the side or into driveways, let me pass and then get back on the road behind me. Its weird, like they respect me. Usually the only comments i get on the car are "Thats the new Civic!?" They expect a dorky car, only to get my sporty 2 dr. Also, ricer civics love to race me, its funny cause even their riced out civics can't hold up to my stock LX a/t. lol. Respect the Civic...

i figured it out why they honk at my car 2 times and say woooooo. and i just got someone that did the same thing the other guys are talking about with the drivers pulling over.its because they think the car is for girls and they honk and woot at you and at like a gentlemen and let you pass.
