I was checking the Honda website and in one spot it says the LX has Audio and Cruise on the steering wheel and on another spot it says it has cruise only. Which is it???

Just cruise, if you really want the Audio controls, look towards the EX.

Or...if you are crafty...you can buy the audio controls and harness and install them yourself later. Not a quick or super easy DIY but you can do it if you REALLY want to buy the LX and still have the controls.

Thanks!

So what else does the EX have that the LX doesn't?

From what I can tell:
Steering wheel audio controls
Rear disc brakes
60/40 rear seat
2 more speakers
moonroof
rear cup holders

Am I missing anything?

Rear stabilizer bar
subwoofer + the two rear speakers extra amp (350 vs. 160 watts total power)
trunk release from the remote
no keyhole for the trunk...use mechnical remote on driver floor
beefier front stabilizer bar <-don't quote me on that one but I believe this be true

I think that's about it...I'll let you know if i remember anything else.

if your in the states then I think the LX has steelies too....

The EX would have the mags but only for the US....the CDM has the same mags on the LX and EX.

And the EX coupe has the 340watt sound system...
and you can in the states get the option of the navi on the EX

I'm pretty sure the DX doesn't have a rear one. I think the rear stabilizer goes up in size from the LX to EX.

Yeah...my bad on that one...the DX is the only one that doesn't have the rear stab bar.

I think it's easier for the guy to just check online or with his local Honda dealer on what options come standard on what Civic trim.

Especially since most of what I've read on teh intranets concerning standard trim packages isn't completely true. I think it differs from region to region, dealership to dealership.
