Amsoil 5w-30 mtf syncronmesh right?
Just checking... The book says 10w-30 for replacements in the Si, yet everyone here I remember saying 5w-30. 5 is safe right? And I need the syncronmesh type?
I found a place that sells it finally. Checked orielly, told me to go to autozone, nope. They told me to check Jiffy Lube, nope. They told me to check Nappa. ALRIGHT! Finally! Now it's 7.19 for 5w-30 Amsoil Syncronmesh in one ghetto looking bottle... That is what I need right? And how many of those bottles do I need for the 06 Si? They have a guy there that tints windows that I'm probably going to hire, and I'm hoping he'll fill up the MTF at a discount or free if I ask him to. They said he most likely would... Ah well, any help is appreciated. Thanks guys. |

How about:
This should help you out man. I did search and only came up with things like "I switched to Amsoil and everything works great now." Nothing really specific so I figured it'd just be easier to make a thread. If that stuff is so great why not make a sticky thread with that picture and tell every new member to go buy THIS stuff. Thank you DumbasSi though. That's exactly what I was looking at in the store. EDIT: Why exactly do we use the 5w instead of 10w like the manual says to? |
