Thinking of buying a new Civic

I looked at a few 07 civics coupes with auto for my wife {ex modles}
They have no insentives so was wondering if i should just wait til the 08 comes out and get one of those or see if they give a little off since the 08 is out.
Anyone know if they are planing to put an insenitve out soon?All they had was low interest rates.And i am paying cash.
Thanks kevin

Where, are you located, 340six? If anywhere near TX, check out Gunn Honda. They actually have some discounts on the civics.

Check out Chris's sub-forum:

at either 2.8% over 36 months or 4.9% over 60 months, why would you pay cash?

they should drop the price by a thousand or two...we just bought a EX sedan

I thought perhaps if the interest rate was low enough and if one has monthly income that it didn't make sense. I guess I'm wrong?

Congrats on your low (zero) debt lifestyle! We'll pay off our house in two years. And yes, it really does feel good.

Anyways, Kevin, I would be surprised if you couldn't get more incentives such as a thousand or two off MSRP. We got about $1,500 off our Civic EX (bought last week).

Thumbs up

I just bought an '07 EX Coupe. I took my sister with me. She was on the cellphone with another dealer at the same time we were talking money too with the salesman. We had them bidding down the price back and forth, it was pretty cool. Anyway we ended up getting the lowest bidder to drop $2K of the sticker, not bad. My understanding is that they don't fudge on the price too much when it comes to civics, so I don't know if waiting till '08s come out will help any.

To my knowledge..I have never seen Honda do a Cash Back/Rebate Incentive on any of their vehicles...all I ever see is special finance rate and lease rates.
