How much are the retails on them JDM filters anyways...
I've used Purolators mounted on its side on multiple vehicles with no adverse effects. In addition there was a incident where a metal shrapnel knicked my oil filter badly enough that while driving in the desert oil began to leak, and lightly coating my windshield. I thank the lord when I came across a local Walmart, and used their Super-Tech House brand as a replacement. Come to think of it, the car with Super Tech filter is rapidly approaching 190K and still running that same brand filter since that day. |
