I had a VAFCII at my EJ8 (D16Y8 engine)....installed at my R18 without any problems (just get the ECU wiring guide from the tech book at some Honda dealer).
I was able to change ar/fuel ratio and ignition timing, but couldnīt change VTEC engagement....since it works between 1500 and 3500 rpms, and can be engaged at ANY rpm between 1500 and 3500, thats probably why I couldnīt change it.....but the dial changed colors when VTEC was engaged and disengaged. |
