Stock R18 - 5th gear @ 6800rpmīs
At the dyno, of course.....top speed: 258km/h.
I did that this weekend, gonna start to mod my engine and I had to had a dyno sheet to compare. My clutch is not ok, Iīll be changing it (going for a Clutchmasters Stage 1) and after 1k miles Iīll be putting the car at the dyno again. Note: I didnīt gas it untill fuel cut-off, stoped where redline starts. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S5rJ4Ipo4iU

The RPMs will vary depending on your elevation and what kind of an incline you're facing. The car was probably able to go that fast because it was also on a dyno - there was nothing for the car to pull and no air resistance. That is unless there is some sort of governor.

The idea of this test was to check if there was a speed or rev limit. At the road, I have reached 216km/h a couple of times, never tried to go faster than 216....
Iīll be changing the clutch next week, and Iīll run it at the dino again to see if theres any change....the best run gave 105whp, the worst 89whp....too much power lost... |
