Anyone else hate their LX coupe/sedan?
I had to get mine because my old car was beyond repair... Feels like a grandma car to me, but hey thats just me. Rents surprised me with this LX awhile back, really wish they would have got me an SI... How much $$ would it take to add the HFP lip kit and SI spoiler on it and SI rims on it do you think? EDIT: They only payed down payment of $1000, I pay every month for the car, not spoiled. Working full time and in college...... Last edited by SpazzySalsa; 05-10-2012 at 05:19 PM. |

Is it automatic or a stick?
You have a LX what coupe or Sedan? Do stuff to your car, i mean i have a coupe and i regret not getting a sedan just cause coupes dont have as much to with compared to sedans. But i'm gonna bite the bullet on this car pay it off and then upgrade to a new Si one day or an S2000 cant decide but until then make your car what the hell you want it to be.

Amazing. .. Regardless, shoot for a grand for the HFP kit. Have only rude thoughts on getting an Si spoiler for a LX and wasting money on Si wheels, when you could waste money for a better looking set of wheels. |

Read original post, edited. They only paid the bare minimum to get it off the lot while I was out of town for a class project. Pay for the car payment every month myself. Working full time and in college... |

Yeah, if you had specified that from the start, then nobody would have thought of you as spoiled.
![]() Still, there is the fact that they did that. They could have so easily gotten you a 91-99 civic that runs "fine". Last edited by trufflesaremoney; 05-10-2012 at 05:53 PM. |

Yes, the automatic is slow. It's programmed for high fuel economy, not performance. The HFP lip kit and Si accessories would be a complete waste of money because they don't do anything to make the vehicle more responsive. IMO it's not worth the money to mod the car. Concentrate on school, get a good job, and then buy the car you want. If you must mod, forget the cosmetic stuff. Start with a Cold Air Intake and an exhaust system that is a bit more free flowing. |

If you install alloys that are heavier, and I believe the Si rims weigh a couple lbs more, you are adding more unsprung mass, which will negatively impact vehicle acceleration. |
