If you really wanted you could find an IC and custom fab it. I mean it's only a matter of cutting into your Rad support.
Kraftwerkz has a clamp kind of IC mount, watch their 8thgen SC video on YouTube and scan through to where they show you the IC.

It's more then a turbo, prob slower
And at dont have an intercooler option

Im actually really considering on getting this SC. Looking at the already pretuned one by Jackson Racing which to me is more than enough where I can just enjoy the car and still DD the car without any issues. I like the wya the racing version looks but its like +100hp more which Im hesitant how my tranny would hold up. The non intercooler version is around a +40 gain and it provides enough torque where I can merge and pass on the highway much easier. Plus this was how the R18 should have been from factory, not necessary having a SC/Turbo but at least this much power and moreso for the Si so we could be closer to our competitors

Since I am looking at the pretuned one, I didnt think I would need flashpro and that the kit would work. If I wanted to get flashpro Ill have to change my ECU to the US version (dont really wanna do that tbh). I would really like to try and maybe make a purchase around the summer time Julyish, but I think its better for me to do research and FI and if it works for me make a purchase near the Fall time to 2014

Agreed, I got my sights on the factory tuned CARB option. Gonna continue to get as much info as I can but I already have a couple hundred set aside and am gonna start saving ASAP.

yup looking at the factory Jackson Racing tuned carb version. Downside is you cant adjust anything you want though, but I think +40 HP/torque is perfect for DDing still and would make life much easier for highway driving. Considering it doesnt seem like a significant jump my tranny should hold up

The numbers it's putting up are right in the neighborhood of where I'd like my car. With supporting mods, I believe I'll be well happy with the results.

I think our auto trannies are good atill about 220hp not sure tho

Fed up with taking my car out to get it fixed.

My uncle looked at my car, and was all dissapointed. "Can't believe you put a catback on an auto. Damn! Its like a quarter of an inch off the floor! Dafuq!

I looked and almost called the BBB on them. I was genuinely pissed off

For one, they used BIGASS washers to connect the axleback to the resonator. So big that they stick out of the flange.

Two, the hangers on the midpipe fell off the rubber hanger mabob thing.

Yeah, this exhaust hangs low and I'm pretty fuxking stupid low, but not ONCE did I lay frame or not angle incorrectly up a driveway since I've gotten this exhaust.

The most ive done was graze the floor, the tinny metallic sound. Never once did I hear a BAKUNK.



I gotta go back tomorrow AND I have a midterm on Thursday.
Fuxk this car. Seriously.


I might just switch over to the ASM. I'm so pissed.

Yup Im not looking for being a overly fast car, just enough power so I dont always have to floor it. But then obviously Im going to be in boost full time and I love that weeeerrr sound fro ma SC

Well its the amount of torque increase on the race kit which is almost 200lbs. The non intercooler is 170lbs, on par with some SUVs. Which is why I think the non intercooler is more than enough for autos.

If you have manual you can switch your internals and stuff to improve your transmission, dont think the same can apply for autos if that makes sense

Take off your midpipe and just use the vibrant axleback then. For some reason the Vibrant midpipe hangs low which I never understood. Its just as bad as the TIC angle. Or sell it and get a magnaflow catback which is really quiet imo
