Question Does anyone here own two of the same model Civic? (Coupe/Coupe) or (Sedan/Sedan)

As being owner of two Generation 8 Civic's (Sedan & Coupe), I was wondering if anyone had two Coupes or two Sedans?

Since having Orthoscopic surgery to my right knee, I find it very difficult to get out of my Civic Sedan. When I drive my wife's (formerly my) Civic Coupe I don't have a problem getting out.

I am thinking the following scenarios:

1. Taking back my Civic Coupe and trading in my Civic EX Sedan 5-Speed for a Civic LX Sedan Automatic for my wife.

2. Trading in my Civic EX Sedan for a Civic LX Coupe 5-Speed or Automatic.

Your comments are welcome, but put yourself in my shoes if you had major knee surgery.

Similar situation here. I traded up from ASM 06 EX, to NBP 06 Si, so it also feels like i've owned 2, even if not actually at the same time.

Yes, I bought two new blue Civic LX automatic sedans.
But I bought 2nd one 15 years after the first!!
Thought about getting a 2nd '06 sedan for the wife but we need a vehicle with space (family) so she has an '06 Pilot.

I think since my wife has had my '06 Automatic EX Coupe for several months, I think I will trade my 5-Speed EX Sedan for a '07 ASM LX Automatic with the 17 inch upgraded Honda wheels.

That way if the EX goes to the dealer again.....she can drive mine.

Wow, I just read the part about knee surgery. I'm guessing left leg? I'm sure that you are aware of the power decrease you will experience going from MT to auto.

Hey are there any shift kits available for the civic auto yet? Back in the 70's and 80's those were very popular, but I haven't really heard much about them in the past decade. it could just be that I haven't paid much attention since my personal daily drivers have been MT since 1992.

Good luck with your decision, and be prepared to loose a couple of thousand on your trade in, unless you got your 06 early.
