Should I get HFP 18" Wheels for my EX Coupe?

Should I get HFP 18" Wheels for my EX Coupe?

HFP 18" Wheels weights about 23 lbs, does the wheel weight too much for the non-Si Civic?

Does the HFP 18" Wheels make my coupe less MPG, and slower acceleration? What else does it effect the car?

Or should I go with 17" instead...

go with the 17" imo. that's what i'll be doing this summer

a little less harsh ride and from what I've heard from others on the forum 18's may dock your acceleration a little.

I'm going with the 17's myself in the summer. I've also heard some problems from other members about the 18s + 215 Generals hitting/rubbing against the wheel well. (somewhere in the wheels that will work page)

17s will be a smoother ride and prob better all around.

PS the 17s also weigh about 20lbs

i don't know w/c way u wanna go, looks or performance?

23lbs is not that bad on r18's (i had 27lbs on mine at one time would u believe). a bit heavy on acceleration and a tad less mpg but i'll definitely go w/ the 18's compared to let's say, 17's. 18's definitely looks hotter than the 17's imo.

by the way, your car looks like ayenoc's car. check it out...

EDIT:

your car.

Ayenoc's car.

18" HFPs for the win.

However, mine is an Si and they have the uprated spindles etc to accomodate the 18" rims. They look the mutts nuts tho...
