Interior = Frustration

Okay, so as you may have read my other posts, I am looking to buy a civic EX coupe (most likely) in march or early april. But there is one problem. I want the black interior but I really want either the galaxy gray or the white or maybe even the dark royal blue exterior color. So I was wondering two things:
1. For those of you that own it, do the tan or gray interior (either one, i dont care) look dirty easy?
2. Are there any seat covers out there that are dark colors (or i guess any color) that i could buy to prevent the dirty look on the original seats? I found this on ebay: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/HONDA...spagenameZWD1V

But they say they fit the DX or LX but not the EX.... why?? Are the seats different?
Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks! :)

Idea: buy either an Si (which already has black interior) or buy a different color that has the black interior, and get the car painted (Honda paint seems to be REALLY thin, and chips waaaay too easily)

My car interios is gray and it does not get dirty, but then again i do not drive people around and i don't eat or do anything dirty in my car i had the car for 9 months and if you get inside off it right now you will think is new..

I do have seat covers on mine just to keep the original seats protected. my seat covers are black with gray and match my car perfectly.. i pay like 35 bucks for each..

and all the seats are the same size they just have different colors on the different models, Gx,Lx,Ex etc...

i hope this helps..

I dont know how on earth you could keep the tan or gray interiors clean if you live where there is lots of rain or snow at any point. They are such a light color...

I have tan interior and it looks great when clean. But it shows any signs of dirtiness easily.

^ Oh yeah, rubber mats really help because you can just remove and dust it off.

i have the ex with the tan interior because they didn't offer the darker option.. the tan interior looks great when its cleaned and i make an effort to keep it clean.. i got those honda all season floor mats for christmas so that helps keep most of the stuff off the carpet also..

I have a Black EX Coupe with the Beige interior and it shows all stains! While my Gray EX Sedan with the Gray Interior does not show the dirt as well.

i've actually never really had problems with the interior... maybe cause i'm a careful guy but still..
if you care about the interior, then you'll take care of it.
i've had no scratches on the door panels, no scratches by the key ignition and i've jabbed it more times than i can count.

i've put meguiars NXT interior protectant on once and a while and that helps to keep it clean. if it gets dirty, wipe it off with water and WA-LA!

I have a red 2006 EX with tan interior, because it was the only color interior you could get with red.... I would have much rather had gray. I had a 1995 red Rodeo with gray interior and that was great for dirt. I am not super clean, and my kids trash my car. I live out in the woods so I went with the all weather matts immediately. The matts really show the dirt. I guess it depends on how clean you are...

I have a Galaxy Grey Metallic EX and it has the gray interior. I have black oem floor mats and I just clean them regularly (Like I do with all my cars). If you keep it clean, protect it on a regular basis. It will last longer.

black with tan here, and i have no problem keeping the tan clean. I believe now however they offer the black with a grey interior. IMO the tan makes the car look cleaner, more elegant; while black will make it sportier. All my previous cars were black/grey interiors and i thought i'd hate the tan, but i love it. TREAT YOUR CAR WITH RESPECT AND CLEAN IT AND IT'LL LOOK INSANE.

clean cars FTW!!!

06 nhbp ex. tan enterior, i love it, looks classy IMO. Its not hard to keep it clean but it is really easy to get it dirty. Like when I get in and out of the car. My shoes usually scuff the door jam. And my floor mats get dirty real easily. I use this stuff called Simple Green to get all those out. Works really well, can't even tell there was a stain or scuff.
