No, You don't need to lower boost. The flashing d is for several things. The Transmission Input shaft is moving faster than the computer is calculating, the Tranny is over temp, the torque converting is not working right, range selector (gear selector) is not functioning right.

The BOV SHOULD NOT be hissing or venting under acceleration period! If this happens, that causes a boost leak. It should only vent when you let OFF the gas, and it will make a crisp "Shhhh" sound. The noise you probably hear is turbo spool.

At 15 seconds that is the Blow Off Valve. It may sound crisp, or like a flutter. Everything else leading up to the 15 second mark is turbo spool.... meaning it is spooling up and creating boost.

I assumed it was high boost cuz when I go at 11lbs mines start flashing but if I keep at 10 it doesn't. As far as his second question I misunderstood what he meant by hissing.

I get the blinking D a lot. It can come at WOT, or even at part throttle at like 6 psi. It's weird. Honda is the only one who can figure out what it means. They have to hook up a specific transmission code reader to the ECU and pull the info.

Nope. All of those parts get order like the week after valentine's day so I will have a complete build at that point. New Level 10 torque converter and tranny cooler so we'll see how this baby reacts to that! I'm gonna force this car into submission.

ask around.... There are places that will ship. =) I was quoted 1100 shipped for everything needed to convert. =) do a search for junkyard online sites and do a request for the manual swap parts.
