I'd suggest going with what you like and can afford. Make your car look the way YOU want it to look. Not how other people want it to look.

I don't know why you would need spacers for stock rims. I've seen a couple of people do the stock rim on an EX. I plan on doing this as well. I just love how the Si Rims look on the 8ths, I just wish I could afford some.

ive read that the Si wheels are real close to rubbing cause they are bigger so people get 3 or 5 mm spacers.

shouldn't need spacers..

but if the Si wheels were to be real close to rubbing anything in the wheel-well, spacers would not be an answer, neg. camber would.

si wheels on an EX need spacers because our calipers are closer to the center, and they would hit the rim.

From Japan.

try memoryfab, jdmland, upgarage. look to spend a fair chunk of coin though, unless you can find them used stateside somewhere.

You could also go through Acura. Their CSX (canadian model) has very similar rims, although they are a light grey.

Mine look a bit small because they have 205/40s on there. They look ALOT better with a 215/45 or 225/40.

Whats going on guys? Relatively new civic owner. Going from Volkswagens to honda was quite the jump but I'm loving this thing so far. Its basically stock right now besides tints and exhaust. What I have planned so far would be black Work Emotion CR-Kai 18" rims, tein lowering springs, cai and thats about how far i've gotten so far. Kinda dissapointing they don't have too much for these r18 motors yet.

If you look on these threads and ask other members, they all said the rims fit just fine without any problems and no rubbing at all. I don't see how the brake calipers are different unless you have something lower than an EX which uses rear drum brakes. But the EX uses same brakes as the Si. I am pretty sure about that but I can be wrong about the brakes, but I know people who have Si Rims on an EX with no fitment issues.

all Coupes and Sedans that are not Si's have an R18 engine in them.

All non-si coupes are FG1

All non-si sedans are FA1

All Coupes and Sedans that are Si's have a K20 engine in them.

All si coupes are FG2

All si sedans are FA5

Me and the GF just traded in the 06 Kia Rio 5 and bought ourselfs a new 09 Civic EX-L. We were also looking at getting the CSX but ended up with CIVIC EX-L since we got a hookup at Honda for whole price on Civic. We choose the EX-L for 2 main reason 1. The Kia Rio 5 has heated seat and dont think i can live a Canadian winter without. 2. My gf ride before kia was a del sol so she missed the top coming off the car and wanted sun roof. I quite pleased with the Civic Ex-L rides nice, comfortable, good on gas.
