EX, LX, or DX? What the differences?

Since Honda stopped putting the actual logo on the car it's hard for me to tell the models apart. My 08 Sedan title says LX, but I always thought it was an EX. What are the differences between models?

Well, a DX doesnt have power windows or locks, LX does, and EX has a sub in the back and sun roof and "luxury" goodies.

Don't forget the DX-VP. Same as DX, but has power windows and AC

For an '08, the most obvious difference is sunroof and rear disc brakes.

Please don't tell me you bought a car, while not even knowing what model you were buying. I can only imagine the fun the salesman had when you left the dealership.

major differences from ex to lx are sunroof, rear disc brakes, sub, 2 more speakers, alloy rims instead of steelies, and audio controls on steering wheels

EX rims are different too. the 09+ ex rims are completely different, the LX-S 09+ has the 06-08 EX rims. most noticeable difference will be rims, and sunroof (if you're going solely by the exterior of the car) EX and SI are the only ones that do not have a keyhole for the trunk.

DX doesnt have painted mirrors or door handles, and lower aesthetic quality hubcaps.

LX has hubcaps, rear drum, no sunroof, and if its the LX-S, a black interior similar to the SI without the badging.

Couldn't you just have gone to the Honda website to see the differences?

Read his original post, he said '08. Link me to Honda's website where you can compare '08 models and trims.

There really isnt much difference at all, except for the major ones, being rear discs, sunroof, higher wattage stereo, 16 inch wheels and difference materials on the seats.
There are also little changes, like a tip on the muffler, and stupid stuff like that.

The discs cost more to maintain, the higher watt stereo is still bad, and the other little differences arent very substantial, and arent worth the extra cash.

I would just get the dxg model if you plan to mod it. Its like 5 or 6 grand cheaper.

I was told the EX also is the only trim level that has the USB port inside the center console in 09+ models. EX also has trunk popper, and the other things that everyone has listed. My EX doesn't have an different exhaust tip from the LX.

If you must know the car was purchased by my Mom while she was in her last stage of Breast Cancer. At that point of her life I don't think she really gave 2 es about a ex,lx,dx badge. Any more questions?

^Sorry, not trying to be an a-hole, just hate those kind of replies that have nothing to do with the question at hand.

I wish mine had a sunroof and rear disc, but it's an LX. Oh well, can't have everything.
