How Good is the Front Bumper Paint Job on our cars???

I drive an LX tango red (maroon) like 100 mile every day to work using the Turnpike in NJ average speed 70-78mph. Currently I have a full nose bra on, but it kind of takes the look away from the car, but at the same time is the best protection for my car. I was thinking about just having the hood piece of the bra on and remove the bumper piece, what do you guys think, will there be paint chips on the front bumper??? how good is the bumper paint job on our cars any ways??? what do you guys think, any personally experience?????

The bra has been on since day one so every thing underneath it is brand new.....just dont want to deal with paint chipping, I am ok with cleaning all the bug splatter and what not but no chipping please....just wanna know what you guys think......

Later
J.........

there shouldnt be much chipping. as for me on my car, i dont have alot of chipping. i have alot of bugs and the OEM paint job is pretty good compared to other manuf.

I have the same color and have a 75mi commute a day on the Capital Beltway. I have few chips on the bumper and hood. I wish I didn't cheap out when I first got the car, I was looking at getting a 3M clearbra installed but everybody in my area are asking $500 to cover the front end.

the paint will chip and if you dont want that, id suggest either leaving the full bra or getting a clear bra

if youre worried about looks, you should look into getting a clear bra..although those can get pricey

dont forget you get what you pay for. most clear bras fade after a while and full mask bras fade the paint after a while as well from sitting in the heat

What's the point of having nice paint if you're just going to cover it?

the paints horrible.. i have the NHPB and i can probably say more than 40% of my front bumper is white due to rock chips. I don't know if this is because i got honda to repaint my front bumper or if this is how all civics are but just leave it on
