Front Plate

Well i live in new york where its a must to have the front plate

its held on the bumper with the bracket on the bumper i was wondering if i can mount in lower on the grill ala ek9 jdm.

any of you coupe owners have this?

pics please and instructions on how to do it.

You can flip the bracket upside down and modify it to mount correctly or just take your plate and mount it to the bracket holes.

It wouldnt let me edit- but thats just using the above link's idea.

I just flipped the bracket upside down and went at'er with the dremel and there we go.

I can take off the bracket and show you exactly how sometime if you would like.

btw, like the deflector...hows it workin out for you?

Deflector works great. I love it. its saved my ass numerous times and although i get haters saying its a "truck" thing, i dont care because its saved my ass numerous times this summer along.

Somehow I do not recommend this mod since the plate will block airflow to the radiator

If you don't wanna dremel, you can use zip ties through the mounting holes in the grille dam (whatever it's called) and the mounting holes in the license plate holder. That's my plan. As far as addressing airflow issues, I'm thinking of maybe drilling some holes in the license plate. So crazy it just might work. . .

it doesnt mess with airflow enough to make the engine run hotter..i kept an eye on the temp guage
