Unhappy Check engine light

so i just picked up my new 06 civic LX MT. so im drving to work today around 45 mph and boom my check engine light comes on . of course im going to take it to the dealer but i was wondering if anyone else has had any engine lights ?

I know others have yes. Also others have had their airbag light come on. I don't know what to say besides take it to the dealer. Wish I could be of more help.

Did the light stay on, or has it gone off?

I would suggest taking it back to the dealer asap if the engine light doesn't go off right away. Let us know what they have to say about what the problem is. Hope everything works out for you.

Just got Back from the dealer it was the coolant temp. sensor the service advisor told me that its common on the new civcs hope no one else has this problem
