You can call Honda to confirm it

My CSX has this feature though
Funny, I have an 06 EX Sedan and I got mine to work.

Did you follow the instructions exactly as they are written?

Yes I did. One thing I noticed, once you hit the buttons in the right combo, you have to shut everything off fast. I had to do it twice, I didn't turn the key off fast enough the first time. Timing's everything!

06 EX Sedan 5mt

It works on my car. I set it up. Used it for a week. Then turned it off.

Seems like a good feature. Just got on my nerves when hypermiling.

The auto locking/unlocking works perfectly on my Canadian 06 EX Sedan 5MT.

I programmed it just like the manuel said. No problems. That was 4 months ago. I do wish the passenger door would unlock when you turn the engine off, not just the driver side door.

Yeah it sucks especially when I go to get my three year old out of the back seat and the door is still locked. Or at least it did until the boy figured out how to unlock the door himself.

Okay...I got it to work. The trick is to turn the key back to position 0 as fast as you can. The instructions should have said "within 2 seconds" instead of "withing 5 seconds". I got every lock/unlock feature to work.

EX Coupe and it works fine. I followed the instructions, right down to having the parking brakes up.

I have an 06 Si. I just followed the directions in the quick ref and it worked. You have to seperately set the lock feature and the unlock. As far as I know the unlock does both doors. It took me one or two tries to get it but it can be done. Just spend a few minutes with it.

I have an EX coupe, both features have been working as indicated in the manual (both lock, driver's unlocks), but I've tried again and again using the original instructions and trying things of my own. No such luck with the passenger side. Are you sure its unlocking?? I'd be quite jealous if it really is.

Has anyone figured out how to get the sedans to unlock all doors when shifted to into park? It is a minor irritation but coming from a BMW that only automatically locked I am used to manually unlocking the doors. The one thing that really bothers me is there is no 'panic' unlocking built into the door handles. On a BMW you pull twice on the handle and the door unlocks. thanks...

Tate, just curious if your co-worker got it working since quite a few others got it working. If so, did you guys call Honda Canada tell them what kind bullshit answer were they giving you guys.

Okay everyone. There are no published instructions on how unlock all the doors by using the shift lever. Honda has only published instructions on how to unlock only the driver's door by using the shift lever.

Only a very few people (one for sure, maybe two) have reported that they are able to open all doors without the use of aftermarket products, but haven't given a reason as how they are able to do so. What they say may be true, but they might have some wiring fluke that allows them to do so.

If you want all your doors to automatically unlock, the only way is to get an aftermarket system (alarm or otherwise) that allows you to do so.

Please, do not ask how to automatically unlock all passenger doors by using the shift lever because there are no published instructions for it.
