hmmm...well it was just a suggestion. And if you really want to get power, you should think about trying to extract it out of a car more designed for power. Our R18's are really meant for fuel economy.
I've tried the engine modding thing, and it really doesn't respond well unless you are willing to spend a good amount of money tuning. The gains on an intake aren't worth the hassle really. But that's just speaking from experience.... Best power for the price for the R18 is the turbo kit from ProCivic. But it too requires some tuning. Last edited by tomasro; 07-14-2008 at 05:59 PM. |

haha mike i made my own also, i used a apexi 80mm filter i cut the maf top part out and used a 80mm pipe cut the top and glued it on primed painted and used stock intake rubber to connect and its like a x intake for a r18 : ]
might show a Diys later but first iam off to dyno when i have time to compair it to stock : ] |
