what do you mean.... i ordered this direct from Honda. i didnt buy this or any of my Mugen parts from private sellers. Or are you saying you returned all yours and went with a HFP lip instead?

thanks for the comment!

I sold my front lip on ebay to a guy in WA & wrapped it up in the same tape, so I thought it was mine. Oh well, my bad.

Yeah I sold the Mugen Front lip in favor of the HFP. IMO I like the "tamer" clean look of the HFP better. I'll still rock the mugen grill soon.

nothing is "wrong" with it. It just isnt for me or my taste. Some imperfections in it drive me nuts... and its gonna be too much CF under the hood soon if i had kept it. so its just sitting in my room.

on another note. still havent gotten the lip back from the shop (need to call them) and have yet to get off my lazy butt and install the Mugen cat-back exhaust system. I DID however snap a couple shots as i was passing through Seattle to a friends place.

ENJOY

it WILL be on this week, most likely friday or saturday. i "assumed" that i wouldnt need any special gaskets as we stock tons in our Honda parts department. so i went through all of them today to find correct size gaskets and NONE were big enough for this exhaust system.... so i HAD to order the "MUGEN" hardware kit....

-----------------------------------------------------------------------

on another note... i got THESE couple boxes in the mail today...

and the install of one turned out like so.....

what do ya think!? i love how the lower portion of the grill comes down farther on the bumper and "opens" up the grill area! Not to mention that it breaks up all the white on the car quite well!

more parts install this week to follow as i get more time....

anyhow..thanks for the compliments and positive feedback! much appreciated man. you can come by anytime. just done steal it LOL j/k

By no means would it be rice or poser if you had the full lip kit and GP's. That would look better than the fiji, I think. Thats what being a car enthusiast is all about. And Mugens dont impress me one bit. Dont get me wrong it's a nice lookin ride, but I would never pay for the name to be all over my car with a suspension upgrade and rims. I already seen two of them and know of a third one in bremerton. It looks like people are willing to shell out 30k for a civic in WA haha. Anyways, enough on the Mugens. I think your ride looks the sexiest out of all the WA 8th gens, and will be turning some heads with the other upgrades coming. I wanted a Taffey fg2 and almost got the first one in WA back in 05. But i guess i can let yours go because you asked haha. I hope to be coming in soon to get my third gear fixed. Other than that, I'll be around. Hope to see you on the road Sean.

its perfectly fine if you want the Mugen catback exhaust too. LOL! nice to know there is people in WA with similar taste in mods as i.

PS- do you wanna purchase any wheels? im selling my 17x7.5'' Weds Sport Racing wheel with the tires... would gladly give ya a deal on em. if not know anyone? LOL. glad the FD2 shift knob is working out. i prefer its "feel" over the mugen knob.

gimme a shout if you ever wanna do a official photoshoot or cruise or whatever.

Sean

^^Yeah Im in for more pics if theyre gonna be up for sale. kinda dark on the ones in your pics. Im kinda tight on money right now though with the savings for the greddy kit. but i will definantly pick up if the price is right on both our ends. And looking forward to seeing that mugen exhaust. should be sweet.
