Bibby's 08 LX Coupe

I got this in feb 08, and have since got the mod bug. After selling my 98 civic, i didnt have a custom ride, so something had to be done.

Here it is all stock!

First, i removed the civic emblem for a cleaner look

Then yesterday, i installed a Si shift knob, and got rid of the chunky ass LX knob.

And compared to the LX

I also got my Skunk2 drop springs, but due to a noise from my suspension/brakes, these are waiting till after my appointment monday to have that sound looked at before they are installed.

and now to today, my 8k HID kit.

And it's drop time. B)

I had the "noise" looked at, and it turned out to be nothign major. They just have to remove some adhesive, BUT it required them to have my car for a day or so to completly rip the rear interior apart to fix it. i said i'd bring it back another day, and the tech was real cool, and said dont worry about the springs, go ahead and put them on. What Honda dont know wont hurt. B) Needless to say he will be my tech from now on. :)

OK, enough about that. I should have wheels by the end of may, so i decided to see what it looked like with no hubbies. jsut gonna rock the steelies. It looks pretty fly if i say so myself. B) The springs were pretty easy. took about 45minutes =per corner, but i was taking my time.

frotn on jack stands

new vs old. They look the same, but the new ones will compress, and the stock ones wont.

Both frotns with new springs on.

oooh it hurts to see my brand new baby like this.

new one in.

rear all stock

and dropped

gettin new wheels in april, so rockin the steelies for the helluvit

here is the set i bought
eBay Motors: 04-07 Honda Civic Accord Xenon HID Headlight 05 06 LX (item 280209889094 end time Mar-21-08 19:48:13 PDT)

he has a few others though...
eBay Seller: autokraz: 06,2006,07,2007,08,2008 civic hid, 04-07 Honda Civic Accord Xenon HID Headlight 05 06 LX items on eBay Motors

They were pretty easy to install. I did the peal fender well back install as opposed to removing thi bumper/headlights. that made it kinda tricky. If you have avg or smaller hands, you will be fine. They were plug and play. It even had mounting brackets. I used zipties though.
