-----------
Install:
The install when really smooth. Took about 45 min to install, any idiot can do it. There are two things i did not like about the install:
  1. The 'weather' Striping on the 'heat shield'
  2. Cutting of one tube to fit
The rubber 'weather' striping is odd, you have to put it on the heat shield, i guess to block more heat? It adds a nice touch, i can see it doing Something. But It was a pain in the ass to get it on all the way, with out part of popping off. Would have been easier if they just had it molded onto it.

There is a tube that you have to cut 2" off, in order to connect it to a 90* connector, I don't see why they couldn't have just made the tube longer to connect back into the intake.

I did, discount the battery just like everyone says for mods, and did let it idle for about 10-15 min before i took it on a test drive.

I'm sure my A/F ratio was off a little, because my car WAS 'gargling and Popping' more then it would. (Buddy Club cat-back exhaust) But i wont lie, its a sexy sound.

Install went perfectly.

First Test Drive:
Just pulling out of the driveway, i felt that it could breath a little better. Just driving it to 25MPH in the hood the throttle response was 5X better then stock.

Just giving it gas, for normal driving you can hear it sucking in air. Yes you do hear the injectors more. When you give the Car about 50% throttle you can hear it sucking in more air.

The first time i took it onto a street (in 2nd) I gave it 100% throttle, I felt it pulling the car more, the sound when V-tec Engages was just sexy. It Scared the crap out of me. It was a sound that i fell in love with.

3 weeks after install:
So with the Short Ram Intake installed, for about 3+ weeks i was looking out for the fowling:
  1. Hesitation
  2. Rev Hang
  3. Throttle response
  4. Heat Soak
Hesitation:
Even when stock, when i would let off the gas the car would buck a little - even when giving it gas after taking my foot off. That hasn't changed, if anything it got a little better.

Rev Hang:
I noticed that the rev hang WAS still there, but a little less noticeable.

Throttle Response:
Better then stock, would not go back.

and the one that has everyone wondering about...
Heat Soak:
I feel none. I sit in traffic everyday to and from school. I DO NOT buck, or feel like its going to stall. Now I am in Chicago and the weather has been cold. So lets see what happens when it get into the 70*+

Other then that, I would recommend this intake to anyone. I say if your looking for a Short Ram Intake. You found it, I love it. and so do other people who hear it.

I do have some pics, I will try and get some videos up in the next few days.

Get a job and pay for your mods yourself. If you do have a job then work more hours. Don't be spoiled
