How much were the side markers and how would you rate the install difficulty?

another odd question

what happens when the side marker blows? does the amber plastic come off while the base that hold the bulb is still there?

$27+shipping, and like $15 more if you want the harness too.
the ep3 and DC5 are the same on the site. and they are OEM Honda parts. (came in lil honda baggies)

THE INSTALL wasn't too bad. Just spend extra time making sure they are even and not slanted. It's mostly eying it so be real careful. ^_^ I stared at them for like 5 minutes on each side, changing angles of view just to make sure they were even. you can tweak it a little once the hole is cut, but not by much. I just used a dremel cutoff wheel and it was real easy. don't use anything else but a cut off wheel. it'll give you a clean cut without smooshing the metal and flaking the paint. It's not a hard install but requires precision. I was scared as hell doing it, but I wouldn't be nervous doing it again. The wiring is cake... just tap the wires into your blinkers up front. unfortunately if you want them to work exactly like the turn signals, it'll require more involved wiring because it's a single purpose bulb whereas the turn signals are dual purpose... so to get them to stay on when ON and blink when the blinker is on, it'll require some wiring skill. but to just keep them on when the switch is ON, OR to blink when the blinker is on, it's no prob. one or the other is cake, it's just to get it to do both that I couldn't figure out. (blew a few fuses trying to tho)

IF IT BLOWS. the bulb is easy to get to. you only need to remove like 2 clips from the inner fender well to get your hand back there and take the harness out. just turn the wheel all the way to one side so you have plenty of room to get there with.

The knob feels a little lighter than the OEM one. I love the feel of it. much easher to shift IMO.

learn to love it or trade it in right now. I started with a NBP and traded it in for the TW, which is my supreme love. I hated the NBP (looked good when clean, but water spots and fine scratches drove me crazy!!!!!!!!)

I believe there's already an existing how-to. The pics on the 1st page show a little as well. Just use a dremel cut-off wheel. I wrote much more on one of the previous pages.

I agree, the side markers do not look right. Sorry man, they don't flow. Everything else is great. :)

I hear ya Maiku. I bought my Si at Carmax yesterday. I'm seriously considering returning it with their 5 day return policy. I know there's a white Si in Escondido but no navi, then there's another Si at Carmax with really low miles w/ navi but it's black. Not there's any wrong with black but I just don't have the time to constantly clean it. Black is beautiful(at night mostly) but it's a bitch as well.

I'm so into the side markers that I don't care how many people don't like them. They're HOT.
