So I was deciding between an acura TL and a MazdaSpeed6, fortunately for me I didnt have money for a car at the time. Then the Civic Si sedan was released, and I knew what car I wanted. I already had a 94 del sol, 93 civic hatchback and a 06 ridgeline. Naturally to have 4 cars between my wife and I would be impractical, so it came time to sell some cars.
The civic was the first to go made $6k off that for the kid to total it in a month, then I bought my civic in October of 08. Soon to follow the civic was the del sol, sold that for $4k again another car totaled. We loved the civic so much that in July of 09 we bought my wife a RRFA5, after we traded in the ridgeline for it.
To clear up a couple question:
1) The licsence plates. I was stationed in Connecticut in the Navy, so when I bought the car it was there. I am a resident of New York, its my home town, so I re-registered the car in NY because CT cops kept pulling my over for Window Tint. They I transfered to Cali, so that explains the whole plate situation.
2). The center caps were spray painted with duplicolor paint then installed the H stickers from grafixpressions.com(you have to make a custom order so just email him). Then I applied the stickers and added 5 coats of clear over the top.
3). The wheels were a hook up that I had in CT, I sand blasted them and then had my connection power coat them for a couple packs of turkey thighs.
3) The carpet and floor mats I bought from stockinteriors.com. The carpet is not precut with the bolt holes but it is premolded, and the floor mats are very close to stock size. They are slightly larger than stock but not by much.
4) The Leather/heated seats were added as a dealer option they cost about $1600 and when I picked the car up from the dealer they were already installed.
had a kenwood DNX-8120 waiting for her when I picked her up.
