Found out today that I am going to Surrey in July for couple of days.. anything fun there to do?

In all seriousness though, if you are into outdoor sports/activities there are numerous places you can go in the lower mainland and fraser valley. I'd recommend going to White Rock/South Surrey to check out the beach and waterfront strip.

I am with the US Coast Guard, and my boat uses their hydraulic steering system. Basically, I am there to learn more in depth about the system and party up in BC!

i live in surrey.. just not whalley/newton area :P but that area is known for bums/crackheads/whores/etc...

Newton is a step up from Whalley. Still not the best drivers. Again, never living in Surrey again. But you're just there for a few days. Just hit up South Surrey, or downtown.
