I need a new bumper

Hey All

Got distracted while slowly backing into a spot at Brentwood mall, backed into a tracker with a front bike rack causing no damage to there ride but I think i have to get a new rear bumper Damage looks to be small but I am trying to find pics of where the rear body kit attaches or even getting a new bumper.

I did leave a note with my phone number in case they want to file a claim with ICBC but I don't need this right now. And no it won't buff out.

I will post pics later as I do not have the cord at work for my phone.

Dumbass FTL!!!!

Isn't repairing it to the autobody shop cheaper still?

bumper is cracked, I am thinking this could be a good reason to get rear skirt for car but I need to see a coupe with rear skirt so I can see if it will cover my damage.

Post a pic of your bumper and we can tell you if the rear skirt covers it. Rear skirt sits pretty high.

it is alone the crease of the lower bumper, just above where exhaust is. I felt I had to leave my info even though I only left a phone number, I was not about to leave private info for everyone to see.

I remember when i backed into a pole a while back and I was quoted 700 to have bumper fixed.

Waiting for quote on maybe a new bumper or jsut get rear skirt.

here is a hand done pic of where damage is. in the middle where i put circles is where damage is.

so far 700 to repaint
500 installed for rear skirt

so here are the pics of me being a dumbass

Awesome parking job by other person, not that mine was any better since I hit the tracker

this is what I made contact with....metal sucks

this is the worse damage out of the two spots of damage I received.

End of the day me being a dumbass has cost me 500 bucks but the bright side is I can rock the rear skirt now.

Still waiting to hear from other party, I figured they would have called last night but nothing yet.

That sucks Sleepy. My guess is the rear kit will cover that right up.

I'm always worried when I back up too. Rearward visibility in our cars suck. The ass is too high. Plus the wing if you got one. I can only see the roof of the car behind me.

My old car was a lowered Miata and I could see the bumper of the guy behind me. Great for parking but yes, scary sometimes.

well got the cash together for the rear skirt and I am hoping to have it installed before the meet on Sat.

I usually park far away but was more interested in getting to the bank and back to work, tottally my fault for not paying complete attention. I still have not heard from other party regarding the note I left so....so far so good.
