well i only say that because it would suck if you get pulled at customs and see you with wheels in your car....to be safe mounting them would be the best

but if your talking about price...thats a pretty good deal for si wheels with tires and good condition

THats way too much. I've had a bought and sold a few sets of Si wheels, the most was $700, but the tires were literaly brand new Falken, not the crappy Michelin tires the Si comes with. Stock wheels with stock tires, $550 tops.

$850 is ridiculous. Agreed... $550-600 MAX for mint wheels.

I paid $400 here and I thought I paid too much so that is way too expensive.

really i see people selling the combo wheel and tire for $1000+ locally..and dealerships are even more...but i guess for wheels only 400 would be reasonable

Yeah, as everyone said above, it's a bit pricey. You can get 18" aftermarket rims with tires with your $850. Check from 8th civic member in the US.

si wheels for a non-si? why bother?

its not like the Si wheels are particularly nice (we all know the type S wheels are much nicer looking)
also, there's the whole poser si/non-si thing
and the fact that the price is a proverbial arse raping.

i'm all for OEM wheels - but i'd say be more original, type-s' (hardly original), or other honda/acura wheels, unless you really like them, then just shop around for a better deal

I always thinking of buying rims + tires combo from the US and ship it to a friend's house. They are like $1000 brand new combos. Of course, not 5Zigen or Works brands! Enkei is good enough or Tenzo

Find someone on the forum selling them and have them ship it to TSB Shipping Plus and go pick them up.

I actually bought a set of new SI rims and tires for $1200 (Paid in cash so no tax and we're talking about vancouver BC)
However, I exchanged my old tire and rims (25000kms EX coupe tire and rims) for $550 with the bodyshop
So you can actually try to trade in or sell your tire and rims so you don't have to pay that much~
