Neon License Plate

Hey, I installed a red neon license plate light from Canadian Tire onto the rear of my RR Si. The other day a Cop followed me for like 3-5 blocks at night but he didn't stop me. I was wondering if it was legal to have a license plate light that is RED, if not i am gonna make a switch.

THX

They still make those? I think you're only supposed to have white bulbs above your license plate, I know in the US any blue lights (aside from an emergency vehicle) is asking for trouble.

Not legal... Used to work at in Parts at Canadian Tire and it was so funny when people would come in and try to return it because "the cops made me take it off"... I was like and that is my problem how? It says for off road use only on the package.

I also used to chuckle a bit every time I sold one.
