1) nothing's wrong with the R18... it just doesn't fill up the space as much as the K20.

2) we need a bright underground parkade. from the last install meet, i saw that the lights are too dim in James' parking lot.

3) we need good weather right before the meet so our cars will stay clean!

4) foot_long (you guys remember that fool? ASM EX 5MT)... well, he's getting his car lowered today on Eibach Sportlines (1.7" drop) and he's getting new rims next week (Work Emotion XD9 18x8 in gunmetal). so he'll definitely want to show off! lol fyi, the XD9's look almost identical to the HFP rims.

5) let's wait on Mike to get fixed up. underglow would be kewl

Tripod, two photos, put one on top of the other then erase what you don't want. You can erase 50% 20% or whatever % to get the effect you want.

Yeah, I kinda expected that. You can see the hood stand propped up on both pics. Very cool effect nonetheless.

The new Plug-n-Play setup adds a few components:
OEM Wiring Harness --> Ballast and Igniter Unit --> HID Bulb

My kit had separate ballasts and igniters, so my setup looks like this:
OEM Wiring Harness --> Ballast --> Igniter --> HID Bulb

QUOTE]

Is there much of a difference from the fully plug and play and the one with the separate ballasts and igniters. Does one have more dispersment than the other? Thinking about getting some, so need ideas of which way to go.

Too cool, I am going to try that as soon as I fix my camera.
BTW I got the camera today. Now to make one out of the two of them.

no difference in light output at all.

separate ballast/igniter units
+easy to replace faulty components
-space is a premium, so mounting the igniters adds a little more work

integrated ballast/inginter units
+easier to install
-if unit fails, you need a whole new kit

yep. sure, just let me know when. i don't think it's too dark. i've taken some pretty bright photos in there. you just gotta adjust your cam. exposure to suit. but it's good fluourescent lighting if you don't use flash.

haha YES! those are the springs he was selling. teh fool finally mounted them yesterday (paid $120 to install; no rear camber kit). the car's quite low actually (especially in the front). had to remove all the mud guards.
