Question, Plz help
Hey guys, i figured you guys on here would know better then anywhere else, pherhaps if you have owned older civics before your 8th gens. Well the only thing that concerns an 8th gen in this thread is the seats (fronts and rears) I am looking to put them into my 00 EK coupe. I have found a set for a reasonable price and have fallen in love with the seats from my friend that has an 08 Si.
Do any of you know if the seats will work in a 00 civic coupe? Will the fronts work? will the back seats fit? Do they fold? Anything that you know is greatly appreciated! thanks. |

it wont be a 100%fit...
what you can do is move the seats to the oem 00 civic coupe tracks... there will be some drilling and tapping involvolved though... Just dont use the new track.

I am not 100% sure but i am pretty sure they won't fit perfectly. It's not like you can just tose it onto the rails. as for the rear seats, i am a bit more confident that it won't fit. but then this is just from memory, i haven't been in a 2000 civic in two years. the seats will fit in the car, but you'll need to "make" them fit. again, if i remembered correctly, the seats folded down differently (the rears) on the 00 from the 06.
but good choice of OEM seats, the Si seats are a leap from the seats in the 2000's, I say get them, make them fit and post pics! |

ok do one thing....measure the distance b/w door to door (front) in inches plus measure the gap b/w the front seats plus the gap b/w seats the doors.
take front to back and top to bottom measurememnts too......then post here and see if someone can give you counter data for the seats from the si |
