Biggest 2008 Summer Meet RAFFLE!

As mentioned in the other thread, http://www.8thcivic.com/forums/canad...s-must-go.html, we might do a raffle of some sort to make things interesting. If there's enough participation, we could make this really exciting.. everyone would pitch in $2-5 for a ticket.. and the entire pool could be collected on the day of (and prize would be bought as well).

If there's enough money to play with, we could even have second and third prizes. After drawing the winner(s), there could even be an install/diy portion of the meet haha.

Gauging interest for now, and if there's enough - I'll edit this thread with more information.. as well as properly organizing it. If you're interested, and going to post - please include the following information:

Are you participating?
What's a reasonable ticket price?
Suggestions for the prize?
Any other comments/questions?

Do we want to buy the prize before the draw, or after? If we're buying it after, then the winner is able to pick whatever they want (provided that it's a car part).

If we are buying the prize before, then it can't be something as specific as CSX foglights, cause theres only like 3 regular people with csx's lol

$3-5 sounds good, whe can always do like a lottery type thing

Rather not do money payout.. the prize should have something to do with modifying your car.. else it's just gambling and will have nothing to do with the meet..

Im ok with $5.00 a tick I think its fair. Hope theres enough winnings for foglights.

Been wanting some.
