HFP Skirt Package Colour Matching

What's up everyone, just recently picked up a Taffeta White LX coupe. Couple days ago I picked up up the HFP kit and when I took it out of the box to test fit, I realized the colour doesn't match. I purchased this through Honda. I was wondering if this is common and if anyone else had this problem. Also wondering if the colour would fade over time and match my car body colour more. Thanks.

It won't match perfectly. Your bumpers should be SLIGHTLY off from the body of your car too, though it's not completely noticeable. This is because the paint colors a bit differently compared to metal to plastics.

is it a different tone or is the color totally different...the thing with color match is that they can't match the rest of the car exactly i just got my ggm front lip and it looks pretty close

also the paint colour will differ a litle for each batch of paint made at the paint factory, that added with the dissimular base materials will give you what you got now

It is like 3% off, the skirt just seems more white then the car. I hope the sun plays a part because I really want these skirts on my car. It makes the car look alot nicer.

there should be no difference whatsoever......unless either the car or the kit is way too old

i would disagree. non-si coupes with the kit looks too heavy on the bottom without the wing to balance it off on the top. It's definitely a nice addition, but from angles where the back can be seen w/o the wing, i dun like it.

non-si coupes look nice and round without the kit actually. If i got a r18, i wouldn't get the kit...

my 2 cents

I got my HFP kit from the dealer at the time I bought the car, and I too noticed that the paint was not matching 100%. With time, however, I noticed that the two shades of white look more and more alike. I guess give it some time and it will look the same as the rest of the car.
