Ray Laks was the only American dealer I found. Bit of a drive from Ottawa though.

I just picked up my 08 SI with Navi from Ray Laks....they were fantastic. And it really wasn't that much extra work. The process is pretty simple :)

You can purchase an extended warranty from a company here.
But yes there is no warranty.

Theres no way you can spend 9000 on a new Honda!

Be it SI, SEX I, CRY I, or MDX....whered that come from?

Screw the warrenty...Unless you were cursed in your last life then you should be ok!!!

Just order the SI so Canada can ship it to the USA and you can ship it right back! or right therr.

It is ILLEGAL for the US dealers to discriminate on the basis of national origin but that's a different battle. Just give the a**hole American dealer your address at the local Holiday Inn.

Warranty

Your warranty is not voided in the states just cause you export it. I have a 07 Si that I imported from the states and I've driven across the border, back into the states, and gotten warranty work done at a dealership without any problem. In fact I just got my transmission rebuilt as per the third gear bulletin and it was all covered under warranty!

just because your dealer IS doing it for you doesn't mean they HAVE TO under warranty. My dealer told me that he'd try to get anything that came up covered, but it does state right in the warranties section of the manual that the warranty will not be honoured on an exported car.

Out of curiosity though, which dealer?
