Duties paid when ordering from 8thCivic Store?

Hi all,

Just wondering about the cost of duties any of you guys paid for any items you bought off the 8thCivic store? I'd really like to support the site but with the added cost of duties I'm not sure if I'd be better off just going to Pacific Mall and buying my stuff there. I'm specifically looking at the Tien springs. Pacific quoted me at $300 tax included. $200US here at the store plus shipping should be ok but I'm not sure if the cost of duties will jack up the price.

Your input is appreciated.

You can get them other places besides PAC Mall for under $300. Speedtech, ProParts, OptionJDM, etc. have all quoted me under $300 for the TEin springs. I wouldn't buy them from PAC anyway with the fake Teins around.

$200 USD, tax, duty and shipping would be close to $300 anyway. At least if you bought them locally you could more easily return them if there was a problem.

i went to PAC mall this weekend and they quoted me 255 for the TEIN's

but my buddy's got a JRP account he says so i'm gonna go with him and get em at cost

Really? hmmm maybe its because I'm not Chinese that they decided to jack the price up for me lol I've checked JRP as well but can't seem to find the price. I'll have to dig into it some more.

[Edit]Ok I found the price. Actually not that bad... pity tax is 15% here, that really hurts.[/Edit]
