Who wants to help!

Install an amp in a sedan?

Beer? Coffee? Donuts? I can do it, just be more fun ripping apart stuff with a BBQ fork again with people watching. :)

I'll lend a hand as well. I know nothing about installing this kind of stuff but I know running the power wire through the firewall makes me nervous =S

I'm donating my car to be the victim car for this audio experience. It's all in the name of gaining knowledge.

What is there to know?

Run 4gauge wire from positive terminal to + side of amp (with fuse 6 inches from positive battery terminal) install heavy gauge wires from battery to grounds (3G wiring)
Run ground to the Amp, run remote sense to the remote on amp. run subs to amp out. Run something to the input. All done. (me thinks that's it)

Newmarket. I'll be at the meet on Friday night.. Garage being built.. hmm.. a year.. hmm.. You're a funny guy! Thanks for the offer on that one *grins*

But surely, if you have experience, it would be awesome if you could help out. It would be a learning experience for sure.

Manual reading is no help here... Just shows a picture of the amp, power to power, ground to ground, blah blah blah.

Could take pics, do a diy for all those to look at. :)

I wish I could help, Adrian. I've done this many times, so installing a deck or amp would not be hard at all. My main problem, however, is time. I don't have time to do it mostly because I am always out of the country on business. Maybe we can do it in the spring, if nobody offers to install it until then.

Out of country on Business!

Noice, when the weather gets better it will be done, thanks for the offer though!

Might make a meet out of it, a bbq, some simple mods, etc. a cruise, etc. just a relaxed time, bring in spring with a mod type fling.

At least this time being out of the country means going to Central America, so I don't mind the fact that it's going to be nice and warm. Last time it was North Dakota at -25C.

As for having a spring meet, cruise, and maybe a bbq, you know I am always up for that. Maybe this time I will bring my wife and daughter with me.

Make sure you get stainless steel screws with the pedal set... (or at least use some)
