Aux cable, where to buy???

I'm just wondering where you guys are buying your aux cables??

I'm looking to buy a good cable for my civic locally in Ottawa. I've found a couple around but all I seen are 6ft long, way too long. Im looking for something around 3ft max....

So far ive checked out the source by CC, futureshop, best buy and wal-mart. All have 6ft cables, no smaller. Ive looked online, there is a 3ft monster cable but I cant seem to find it locally.

What kind of cables are you guys getting? and where?

thanks

I got my monster cable on ebay for around $6. It's a six foot one though, but that's because I have an aftermarket head unit and need a quality cable because the AUX input is in the back.

I've never been ab le to find anything smalled than 6 ft. I usually just zip tied it or electrical taped the slack and tucked it away.

walmart sells the generic ones for cheap, around $4. but they poop out on you easily

Well, I bought mine at Future Shop or Best Buy, I can't remember. It's long, but I don't think it's exactly 6 feet.. All I did was rig it up with some tape and such so it's not dangling or in the way... maybe it looks a little ghetto, but it works

Same here with the 6ft thing. Its probably the shortest generic length you can buy. I'm sure if you went to a stereo shop, for a price they could custom make one in any length you wanted.

Did the future shop thing (ugh). I just kept the twist tie on mine.. I hide the cable elsewhere when I'm not using it. I wouldn't mind trying to figure out a better way to route it so it's barely visible sometime.

We don't have many Radio Shacks left in Canada. They are now The Source and they only sold 6ft cables.

I'll be doing a project this saturday so i can completely hide the aux cable from view when it's not in use. I'm going to run underneath the center console and into the armrest.

I may do a diy on this and post a new thread.

and here's a 3 ft cable on eBay Canada:

I found a 6 inch aux cable on ebay. I think its the shortest out there and its the perfect lenght for my 06 Si. It shipped from Japan $10 to my door.

Hope that helps
