So I might want to trade in my 06 EX

I have been thinking of trading in my 06 EX Coupe. I do like the car, but compared to my Si, it's quite boring and I'm not overly fond of having 2 of the same cars anyway. I have been thinking about something more practical, both in terms of size and price to replace the EX. Nothing is carved in stone, but I am exploring my options.

The Honda dealer that I got the EX from has a few cars I'm considering. They include....

A very nice 2000 SiR.
A few 2003-2004 Accords.
A 2002 SiR hatch
And 2 99-00 Civic hatches.

All of the above have their pro's and con's, but what would you pick?

If your looking for something more practical then I would probably take the Accord. Although cheaper, you still have a coupe if you take the 2000 SiR. Hatches would be smaller than what you have and wouldn't be too comfortable for more than 2 people, but you can argue that you can fit large items in your car (i.e. TV).

Maybe you should trade it in for a Fit. It is practical in terms of size and price. Just a thought.

Isnt the EX the wifey's car??? If thats the case, I'd just keep it. It's a new car, dont have to worry about issues because of warranty for a few years as opposed to getting a used car with a limited warranty...

My $0.02

Of all those cars on that list, keep the EX.

Except maybe the Accord, but personally, the new Civic's, in my eyes, are better looking.

The interior goes to the Accord, though, hands down.

Technically they are both "our" cars. I drive the EX to work and she takes the Si. Less k's for her and underground parking.

The Accord is on top of the list due to the extra space (4 doors, big trunk) and its a very nice highway car, which I drive mostly on. They are $$$ though. Even a used one is close to 20g's.

The SiR hatch is nice too. I can still mod it a little and the hatch is huge for hauling stuff.

The Si is going in for a service on Wed, so I'm going to check them all out closer.

:) Any post updates here?

I would opt for the Accord for is size and practicality. The 03/04 Accords fell to a pretty decent resale range now, its a good time to pick one up.

I'm keeping the EX for now. I decided I don't really want a used car. There are so many new cars I like these days. The new Accords are due out this year and I'm starting to really like the CRV's. I've always liked GTI's, the Volvo hatch is pretty cool
