Si owners: What gas do you use? What gas maximizes MPGs?

Sorry again for another gas thread. Just wondering what people are using in terms of fuel.

I've been using Shell V-Power exclusively for the past five years. I find that in comparison to other fuels (include Sunoco 94), that Shell 91 goes the longest distance. In terms of performance gains, I never noticed 94 to pump out a lot more.

I don't recall the last time I pumped Esso or PC. Care to share?

Sunoco 91 or with the odd tank of 94 when its cheap. I don't think you'll notice "much" of a change in performance or MPG when comparing quality brands (Sunoco, Shell, Petro, etc). Just use the correct octane. Using anything higher is a waste of money IMO.

My car usually drinks 94..

I dunno is it something with the computer.. but if I fill 94 for like 2 weeks.. then one tank I fill with petro or shell or esso's 91..I GET MADD POWER.. but then it slowly dies.. lol

Does anyone use non-premium? When I was in high school we took a field trip to an auto shop and he basically said premium was the biggest ripoff ever..heres the link

http://www.salemboysauto.com/salem-f...Action=Q&ID=65

He had a Corvette and supercharged Suburban and used 87 in both.

JHC on a crutch. Don't we have enough of these "what gas should I use in my Si" threads. There is a giant thread on this exact (and every other) gas issue. I realize the AD/HD generation is reading impaired, but this has been covered 462 times.

I'm definitely no expert in terms of fuel. I do however know a few people that have been using regular octane instead in there cars for close to a decade with no engine problems whatsoever. I'll check that link out.

I know that the Shell V-Power "cleaning agent" is a complete gimmick, but it gives me rest of mind, even if it's only me pretending it keeps my injectors clean.

I use Shell 90% of the time, and when I'm back home in Michigan, I use the next biggest chain I can, as we don't have a Shell near me.

I did a trial on my 350z on what gas gives me the best mpg. I drive about 50 miles each day, same time, same route, same traffic, etc. which keeps driving conditions pretty much constant. Shell was consistently 2-3 more mpg than any other brand.
