Guy backs into my pathfinder today! (w/ pics)

So I'm just finishing up work, driving in my work truck. I had stopped at a railroad crossing due to a train. Guy infront of me decides he doesnt want to wait for the train and wants to make a U-turn. He backs up really close to my car, then cuts his wheel and attemps to pull forward fast, but instead he still had it in reverse. BAM!! slams into my front bumper with his back rear taillight, hard. Floored it baclkwards into my car with about a foot of room before impact. Totally ****** my bumper and destroyed his back right 1/4 panel and tailight. His corolla suffered way more damage, and he agree'd to settle w/ me on the spot after we took each others information down. I was pretty calm because my work truck is allready quite beat up, and he was appologetic and completely acknowledged that he was totally at fault.

Drove back to the office and dropped off my work truck and drove my jetta home. All I could think about is how mad I'd have been had it been my forthcoming Si. I felt bad for the guy because he was driving an old ass corolla, but I still wasn't going to let him off without any compansation whatsoever.

straighten out the license plate and keep the $1000+ for mods

Thats cool that he was at least honest. We all make mistakes on the road, at least some are willing to admit when they're at fault!
