@ galaxy, i think i even saw a few posts where you had some kelfords. decided it wasn't enough power?
A few reasons:

1. Awesome deal on Toda A3s
2. Not enough of a power gain
3. Quality issues
4. Customer service issues

Any company that doesn't prioritize the customer's happiness/needs does not deserve my business. There are many other companies that have better products/business practices.

^^^ This has already been answered several times above. The short answer is "no." For the long answer, re-read this thread along with several others on this forum.

Kris
I have kelford 179-As and I have had no problems with them. I installed them, I adjusted the valve lash 100% correctly, and I tuned the car. I noticed power increase from 3500-5000 on the low cam and 8k+ they pull harder. I went from trapping 100mph to 102 -103.

SVM 111 is very rare because I nor other people have seen graphs of it, or have heard of people actually using it. everyone have been using either SVM 211 or the 212 profile.

again, to me its not worth buying drop in cams while you can spend another $200-$300 more to get stage 2 and about another $300 for a full VT upgrade but that's just me tho

Your question was in 2 parts, one of which was if DIC cams are worth it. Most people on this thread stated "no they're not." I'm not acting stupid. DIC are all going to be basically the same with similar gains. They are all faced with the limitation of stock VT. Do your research.

don't have to be so quick to jump to conclusions with the kelfords. Katman has not finished that test, his tensioner was not working properly when he did that test.

^ thanks 98luder.

I'm actually going to be reinstalling the 98luder's Kel's in my engine this weekend to see if the alignment issue was due to my TCT being worn and outta wack now that my engine is down (spun a bearing). Of course I wont be firing up the engine, just installing them and cranking the engine (making revolutions) by hand.
