I do local pickup only because generally I want the certainty that I will have cash in hand for my sale.

I've never had a problem with Paypal. I've had it for years and I even have a paypal debit card that's attached to my pp acount. It was free.

The issue is that when there is an issue, paypal generally sides with the customer and not the seller. My GF has had a buyer purchase a handbag from her via ebay, then return a fake copy version of that exact same bag. Paypal immediately refunded the buyer straight from her account! Although this is a far fetch from car parts, you can see how a buyer centric service such as paypal can mean bad news to sellers, and therefore I stick with local pickup and cash/cashiers check only.
