This meet was horrible. Almost all of Norcal was NO SHOW! Practically ALL of SAN DIEGO was NO SHOW! This was basically "the usual" SoCal LA/IE/OC people meet. We did nothing and not even a photoshoot. I am dissapointed. The only thing fun was the caravan. I would like to thank all the people that actually showed up to make it happen. Unfortunately, it was not enough. This is the worst meet I've been to.

The drive up was great (I wasn't in the caravan, flew solo), the drive to the shoot was too late, but I still had a decent time talking to some members.

My summary:
-Caravan was horrible and dangerous (cruising at 90 and passing other road users in the break down lane? You guys should be ashamed for your driving socal. I wont name names...but holy hell .)

-No one really interacted with new people at the bbq. It felt awkward.

-Lots of people left early, missed out on the photo op.

-Horrible coordination leading to the photoshoot location, which caused a lot of people to say "ef it" and just go home.

-Kick ass photo shoot location, but we got there too late due to poor planning.

I had fun basically because I got to meet Izzy. And not go to work today.

It would have been 100x better at the "shoot", if everybody just went up when getting to the parking lot at the park. We woulda been done, and already at the rock by 3.30 with plenty of light to shoot.

yea, the caravan up there was pretty dangerous because of our speed. we didn't even follow the caravan rules. WAY too many stops. overall it was a good experience tho.

and also it was pretty unorganized. we need to take it more seriously for next years.

We should have it in summer, screw winter. Days are too short, and the state too damn large to get everybody there on time. That way, we can still have time for a "shoot" for those who want it. Hell, the caravans were supposed to have left early, and I got there BEFORE everyone, and I left at basically 9.

That's with two Starbucks stops, a grocery stop, and a restroom break.

Oh, and I didn't eat ANYTHING.
