Hey, does anyone know any good camping areas are here in California, perferibly only 1 - 1.5 hours away from Stockton. Thanks

Hmmmm...well I could suggest one that is a bit furhter...Jalama Beach...absolutely, positively the best beach in Cali! It really is that cool!

The thing that sucks is it's 1st come 1st serve for camping...Meaning you need to be there at like 5am to get in line for a spot.

It's near Lompoc if that helps you get some idea.

Zepher Cove on the Nev side of Lake Tahoe.
DL Bliss on the Cal side.

Big Trees is always good.
I like Bear River resovoir up Hwy 88.

If you like a desert with a big lake... Lake Perris.
