And unrelated legal drag racing that morning, be there about 6am if you want to race (gate opens at 7am, and last time they were sold out an hour before opening).

I'm there, anyone else going? $20 to drag race, $20 to watch the time attack test/tune and open track day. Sunday will be the actual time attack. If you go to the redlinetimeattack.com webpage, you can download a $5 off coupon. I might go both days, as it seems Sunday will be where it's at. Although Saturday is the drag race so I'll be there for sure.

ahhh i wanted to go but plans came up and im heading to the mountains with hippies in volkswagon buses. i'll post the pictures.

my best of 3 runs today. first time ever drag racing. 3/4 tank full of gas, stock all season tires, 230 lbs driver.

i imagine 1/4 tank of gas, sticky tires, practice, and reflash maybe 14.0-13.9?

the reason i am optomistic about a very low 14 or 13.9 is that my first run i was at 15.896 (2.643 -60'), second run 15.498 (missing second gear for the longest). which i knew was driver error because i have injen cai, hondata img, ssr race header, and skunk2 70mm exhaust.

anyone also think that the strip at the california speedway seems to have a hump on it? anyhow, i was just happy to bring the time down over a second.

i also saw a red si there on the first series of runs, i think was in group 3 with me, but ran just before i did. anyone here?
