Yah just paid a fixit ticket for no front plate today. $25 :\

Is the 2nd offense more? I actually have no real problem paying $25 bucks every few months, but if that goes up than i will probably keep it on.

Stop whining about fines. The way people drive in Southern California, I think they should triple the fines on all moving violations.

I just got slapped with a "fix a ticket" for no front plates, modified exhaust, and illegal intake two weeks ago! The cop was gonna cite me for my mugen window visors, but didn't cuz he ran out of room on the ticket! Anybody got an idea as to how much i should expect to pay for all three violations? Oh btw, according to the cop, window visors are pretty much illegal in Cali, especially the Mugen types.....

why are they illegal?

fix it tickets are 25 to get signed off at the police station or highway patrol. just put the stock stuff back on.

the cop told me that you are not supposed to have anything attached to your window/door. they also exceed the window line, if that make sense. that's what the cop told me.

I'm about to drop a cool fifty bucks on a front plate violation in the South Bay tomorrow.

Yes, yes, I know, not the smartest thing to be doing, but I have to believe that my lack of a front plate has gotten me out of actual speeding tickets a few times (yes, yes, I know, also not a smart thing to be doing).

A couple of times, the no front plate thing has served as a nice halfway point for a cop who doesn't necessarily want to give me a speeding ticket, but also feels that he has to slap me with something.
